From the Past
Meet some of Pastor Terry’s original children
from the late eighty’s .These children lived in the
Cleveland Arms apartments, across the street
from his cabinet making shop. Every afternoon
after school, the children would pile in to Mr.
Terry’s office, with the hopes of going home with
him to swim, eat and spend the night .For year’s
theses children and dozens of others just like them
were an every day part of Terry and Kathy’s life.
Eleanor {Red} shown sitting in Mr. Terry’s lap
was one of the first children he met many years
ago.
Lekeshia {Duck head} was a very quite and polite
child. Just three months ago Pastor Terry saw her
in the Moncrief Village Apartments. Now 19
years old she has grown into a very beautiful
young lady.
Carla {little bit} was the youngest of the children,
but stood her ground with the oldest.
One day as Mr. Terry was in a meeting with two
bank officials in his office, Carla came running
down the office wall way, darted past the Bank
officials and jumped up into Mr. Terry’s lap.
After giving him a big hug she proudly looked at
the two astonished men and said, “This is my
daddy”.
Lanorias {Smiley} was about eight years old when
Pastor Terry met him. Smiley’s favorite football
team was the one who was in the lead at end of
the game.
