Every summer Metro Kids
Konnection provides meaningful,
fun and safe activities for the
children in the Cleveland Arms
apartments.
Each day Metro provides over 150
snacks and lunches to children
who other wise would do
without. During a typical day
children come to Metro’s center
looking for a way to stay safe or
just pass the time. Indoors the
children find crafts, videos,
playstations and a cool computer
lab . Outdoors activities include
field trips, kickball,softball and
even a rock climbing wall. Friday’s
is a day that the kids always look
forward to.Each friday afternoon
a ten foot wide and fifty foot
long slip and slide is provided
along with either snow cones or
watermelon.
During the summer Metro joins
with churches and ministries to
bring a fun and meaningful time
right to their own community.
